• Establishing alliances between parents and society will help to create a conducive atmosphere for mathematical learning for the children. Events stressing the value of math education as well as seminars and workshops might be part of this.
• The program promotes research and development in mathematics education to create teaching approaches and curricula, that address the various learning needs of the students.
• Using interesting events, contests, and exposure to practical applications of mathematical ideas, encouraging interest in mathematics increases student excitement and interest.

The DepEd National Mathematics Program seeks to build a strong mathematical basis for students overall, therefore arming them with the tools required for both academic performance and useful applications in daily life.
